When Alberto Bernanzo made a decision to move his family and his restaurant from Veracruz, Mexico to the Last Frontier state of Alaska, he made a crazy bet… and it paid off!
The traditional Mexican recipes of his family, enhanced by fresh ingredients have made Manuel’s restaurant a staple and his dishes the hit among citizens of Juneau!
And while our founder is our main chef, he’s so much more things than that…
Managing both our menu, interior and finances, this man still manages to rock his major position – cooking or sometimes overseeing the cooking of a majority of our restaurant’s dishes!
